The Studio
The excellent studio (22 x 18 ft) is comfortable for eight to ten people with a tutor, as seen in the article in Popular Patchwork. There are work surfaces on two and a half sides of the room with eight double power sockets positioned above the work surfaces. The studio is centrally heated and has outstanding lighting from the ceiling as well as the surrounding walls. The four tables moved together make a 6 x 10 ft surface, large enough to lay out a quilt top. Quilt tops may also be laid out on the hall and landing floors. Rails are positioned around the room in order to hang blocks or pin fabrics.
There are two ironing boards with irons and there is also available a flip chart, overhead projector, a video and a music centre (do bring your own tapes and CDs). The studio is avaiable for use for a group of six to nine persons with ? |
