St. Mark’s is about 3 miles (5 Km) north east of Sedbergh on the A683 Kirkby Stephen road and 11 miles (18 Km) from junction 37 on the M6.

Private off-road parking is available for cars along with secure undercover storage for cycles.

The nearest railway stations are Oxenholme, on the west coast main line (13 miles, 21 Km) and Kirkby Stephen, on the scenic Leeds - Settle - Carlisle line (9 miles, 14 Km). The Kendal to Kirkby Stephen bus route serves both stations and passes St. Mark’s but is not very frequent. Guests can be picked up from either station by prior arrangement.
